My Story

My clogging story started in Cold lake, Alberta in 2003 when a clogging workshop was offered at our local dance studio - thank you to Helen Logan - I will be forever grateful to you for introducing me to clogging. In 2014 the clogging instructor moved away and I took over the instructional duties. I have been hooked ever since!

I stepped away from the studio and formed the Cold Lake Cloggers group in 2005 and instructed the group until 2011 when I moved to West Kelowna, BC. At the time, the Okanagan Cloggin’ group was without an instructor, so I took over the instruction of the group.  I hold classes in West Kelowna and in Kelowna and I'm having so much fun with the Okanagan Cloggin’ dancers.

I love to travel to workshops as well as the National Convention - which I have attended 11 times – always with some of my dancers in tow. A highlight of my clogging career has been attaining my CCI (Certified Clogging Instructor) designation in 2016 at the National Clogging Convention in Nashville, TN with many of my clogging friends cheering me on from the dance floor. In 2022 I was so excited to be the featured instructor at the Clog-toberfest workshop in Fort Saskatchewan, AB and the Prairie Lily Clog Fest in Regina, SK in 2023.

The best thing that clogging has brought me is a wonderful circle of friends that have the common passion to keep moving, stay strong, and have fun on the dance floor!
